📖 About Valor Mortis

Valor Mortis is a bold first-person soulslike action RPG set in an alternative, supernatural version of the 19th-century Napoleonic Wars. Developed by the acclaimed studio behind Ghostrunner, the game follows William, a British-born soldier resurrected on plague-ravaged French soil. Haunted and empowered by a corrupting plague called Nephtoglobin, and guided by the ghostly voice of Napoleon himself, William must fight through a muddy, corpse-filled wasteland of mutated horrors and former comrades. The game is a punishing and atmospheric experience, combining visceral first-person melee combat, supernatural 'Transmutation' powers, and a deep, iterative progression system.
