Rage 2 is a first-person shooter set in a vibrant, post-apocalyptic open world, 30 years after the events of the original Rage. An asteroid has annihilated 80% of Earth's population, leaving behind a chaotic wasteland roamed by savage gangs, grotesque mutants, and the tyrannical Authority. Players assume the role of Walker, the last Ranger of Vineland, who after being robbed of home and left for dead, must rage for justice and freedom.
